Ian Pardo is a highly experienced EU/UK Pharmaceutical Qualified Person (QP) with two decades of expertise in pharmaceutical manufacture and quality. His distinguished career spans the development, manufacturing, and certification of a broad range of medicinal products, including vaccines, gene therapies, cell therapies, monoclonal antibodies, and traditional small molecules. Ian holds an MSc in Molecular Parasitology and Vector Biology from Keele University and a BSc (Hons) in Molecular Genetics in Biotechnology from the University of Sussex.

Ian is known for his leadership in quality improvement and remediation, Ian has successfully spearheaded projects across the pharmaceutical landscape. His notable achievements include the development of innovative supply chain models for ultralow-temperature COVID-19 vaccines, the establishment of quality management systems for clinical-stage biotherapeutics, and the remediation of operational backlogs to stabilize product supply chains.

Ian’s career has been defined by his ability to influence organizational change, mentor diverse teams, and align quality strategies with business goals. As a Senior Quality Leader and Consultant, he has guided companies through regulatory challenges, ensuring compliance with international standards such as EU GMP, FDA CFRs, and ISO 9001. His work with global to small start-up organizations highlights his commitment to fostering a culture of excellence across the pharmaceutical industry.

A dedicated mentor and public speaker, Ian also shares his expertise through training programs and presentations. He has a passion for helping aspiring QPs navigate their journey, leveraging his vast knowledge and practical experience to inspire the next generation of pharmaceutical professionals.

Outside of his professional pursuits, Ian is an advocate for work-life balance, often exploring the intersection of health, AI, and personal growth.
